Revalidation

This course comprises 3 hours online learning and 3 hours face-to-face practical skills and assessment.

The Department of Labour's "First Aid for Workplaces – A Good Practice Guide (September 2009)" and the NZQA Training Requirements recommend that you revalidate your first aid certificate every two years. New Zealand Red Cross will revalidate all first aid certificates issued by an accredited training provider provided the certificate is no longer than 3 months over the two years. This dynamic course starts with a pre-assessment of your current skills and adjusts the course content to focus on the areas of great learning need.
